Mirla Fernandes lives and works in São Paulo.
She researches the relationships between seeing and what surrounds us, the trivialization of vision and our relationship with the speed of consumption of images. Opposing this relationship of discarding, she cultivates the idea of contemplation, whether through urban landscapes or through the relationship with social media, developing a visual production where relationships between real, virtual, the mythical and the imagined are woven.
